Make sure that you’ve confirmed requirements with the requesting authority (or sought legal advice) and correctly prepared any/all forms and documents you need.
The Australian applicant and intended spouse must both attend the appointment and bring to the appointment a completed but unsigned application form and where relevant, evidence of divorce from or death of previous spouse/s.
If you arrive without clear instructions or something you need, it's likely we won’t be able to proceed and you will need to make another appointment.
The Australian applicant will also need to bring their Australian passport and the spouse to bring their foreign passport if not an Australian citizen. If the intended spouse is unable to attend the appointment then a copy of their foreign passport must be provided at the appointment.
Refer to Smartraveller as part of your preparation.
